Terms of Use
By installing or using Super Kawa you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the app.
1. The app
Super Kawa is an independent Android app that connects to the TFT dashboard of Rideology-compatible Kawasaki motorcycles over Bluetooth to show navigation and read the bike's data. It is developed by Guilherme Marzochi and is not affiliated with, endorsed by or supported by Kawasaki Motors, Ltd. Kawasaki, Rideology and Kawasaki Connect are trademarks of their owners, mentioned only to describe compatibility.
2. Ride safely
- Do not handle the phone while riding. Set up routes and settings with the bike stopped.
- Traffic laws, signs and road conditions always come first. Navigation, speed camera and speed limit information may be wrong, late or missing.
- Alerts and readings shown by the app (temperatures, tyre pressure, fuel, service reminders) are aids. They do not replace the bike's own warnings, its manual or a mechanic.
3. Compatibility and the beta
The communication with the dashboard was built from independent research and from the behaviour of the official app, without documentation from Kawasaki. It may not work, or may work partially, on some models, years or dashboard software versions. The support for 2019–2024 dashboards (BLE4) is in beta, and hybrid and electric data are experimental. Test versions may contain bugs.
The app only sends the dashboard the same kinds of commands the official app sends (navigation, clock, notifications and, where supported, the electronic settings you change yourself). Use them at your own risk.
4. Paid features
Some features need a one-time purchase or a subscription through Google Play. Prices are shown in the app before you buy. Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled in Google Play, and refunds follow Google Play's policies. Beta testers accepted into the closed test receive lifetime access to the paid features as a thank you; this benefit is personal and tied to the Google account used in the test.
5. Waze Mode
Waze Mode uses a modified Waze build distributed on our tutorial page. Waze is a product of Waze Mobile / Google, which have no relation to this project and do not support that build. Installing it is optional and at your own risk; you can go back to the Play Store Waze at any time.
6. Your data
How the app handles data is described in the Privacy Policy, which is part of these terms.
7. No warranty and limitation of liability
The app is provided "as is", without warranties of any kind. To the extent permitted by law, the developer is not liable for accidents, fines, damage to the motorcycle or the phone, loss of data or any indirect damages arising from the use of, or the inability to use, the app. Back up your data regularly (Settings › Data and backup).
8. Acceptable use
Do not reverse engineer, resell or redistribute the app, or use it to interfere with our server or with other users.
9. Changes and termination
We may change these terms or the app, add or remove features, or end the service. Significant changes are announced on this page with a new date. You can stop using the app at any time by uninstalling it.
10. Law and contact
These terms are governed by the laws of Brazil, without prejudice to the consumer rights you have where you live. Questions: guilherme.marzochi@gmail.com.
